Multimedia Designer

**POW Studio** is a Picture and Sound Post Production studio in the heart of Wellington City. Excellence in Picture and Sound Editorial, Foley, Mix and Mastering. Our talented team has won the Golden Reel Awards (Motion Picture Sound Editors USA), been nominated for an Academy Award, and is a recipient of numerous NZ Film Awards for Sound Design and Editing. **Now, we are looking for one full-time Multimedia Designer to join our team.**

**Main duties of this role**:

- Plans, designs and develops the production of digitally delivered information, promotional content, instructional material and entertainment through online and recorded digital
- Using static and animated information, text, pictures, video, and sound to produce information and entertainment tailored to an intended audience and purpose.
- Determining the objectives and constraints of the design brief by consulting with clients and
- Undertaking research, analyzing key information, and formulating design
- Preparing sketches, diagrams, illustrations and layouts to communicate design
- Negotiating design solutions with clients and management
- Selecting, specifying or recommending functional and aesthetic materials and media for publication, delivery or
- Detailing and carrying out production in the chosen
- Participating in film production, particularly video editing & sound editing (includes sound recording, effect editing, and mixing).
- Utilizing hand sketching and digital tools (Adobe Creative Cloud) to complete the assigned graphic digital design tasks.

**Requirements of this role**:

- Have at least 3-year experience in multimedia design area (depending on role), or have a relevant formal qualification (Bachelor of Arts in particular filming, sound editing or design);
- Confident
- Can-do
- Team player who thrives in a collaborative working env
