Paul Young International Limited has focus on organising concerts, cultural activists and entertainment around New Zealand, also promoted couple events in major cities in Australia for many years. Since 1993 from now, we have held some concerts for Jacky Hok Yau Cheung, Eason Chan, Xiaohu Huang, Huangqi Xiao, Qin Cai, Emil Wakin Chau, Richie Jen, Sammy Cheang, Cass Ling Phang, Andy Lau, Alan Tam, Richard Calyderman and so many other famous celebrities. Also held for many large-scale events and received so much public praises in local as well as in overseas.

Hold for various kind of concerts and events. For the last 30 years, we have hosted for the Chinese Lunar New Year and Spring Festival in the invited many well known celebrities in China to perform in New Zealand, provided different kind of activities to the local people.

Paul Young International is also like a marketing consultant to many local sponsors, having a positive relationship with many other media in New Zealand. Paul Young International has very good reputation, gains trusts and support from the sponsors and companies. On the area of holding concerts, the accuracy of the market research and experiences from all those years, created more and more excellent events. Gaining confidence and huge support from the performance team and the audience.

The company founder was a 2 terms Auckland Councillor and 1 term DHB Board Member.

**Job Details**:
We are looking for Two experienced Event Development Managers to develop and manage target Asian markets.

The roles are full time and permanent. You willwork 40 hours per week.

The hourly rate is $30 per hour pluscommission based on performance.

Our office is located in CBD, Auckland.

**Responsibilities**:

- Establish and maintain business relationships with business partners in the targeted Asia markets
- Promote music concerts, cultural exhibition and entertainment events in New Zealand and Australia
- Contact and communicate with artists and agencies to negotiate contracts and performance programmes
- Administer the whole event projects and ensure the costs are within budget
- Coordinate the services of concerts and events, including but not limited to venue, facilities, equipment, accommodation, catering, transportation, and other related services
- Monitor the performance of contractors
- Assist company and project director with other tasks when required

**Required Qualification, Experience and Skills**:

- A tertiary education qualification in related area is preferable but not a must
- At least five years of relevant work experience in concert and exhibition in Asia market
- Have strong business connections with artists and agencies from China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea and Southeast Asia.
- Familiar with entertainment, cultural related industries and concert markets in Asia.
- Familiar with the concert, exhibition and event workflow.
- Ability to lead and coordinate a team
- Available for international business travel
