About the Role
The HR Team at Canon is responsible for every aspect of the HR portfolio within this fast-paced and diverse business. Supporting our Canon Business Services division, we're looking for a self-starting Business Partner to fulfil this integral role in the business. Reporting to a leader based in Australia, you'll be the local expert with boots on the ground providing an opportunity to be autonomous and own relationships and outcomes. The scope of the role includes:

About you
This is the ideal opportunity for someone who is keen to utilise their HR skills and truly partner with the business. To be successful in this role, you must be willing to be hands on and agile, be able to manage multiple projects and issues at once and appreciate the day to day operational and functional elements of the role. Experience gained in a blue collar, retail or business process outsourcing environment would be highly regarded, but more important is your sound judgement and ability to get to the heart of issues in a professional and pragmatic way.
Ideally with 2 or more years in a similar role or with similar responsibility you will be able to clearly demonstrate your experience as an employment relations expert and partner with senior leaders to successful outcomes. You may be required to travel to other locations within New Zealand from time to time to build stronger relationships and to better understand our business and customers.
In return we offer the stability of a highly regarded global brand committed to investing in its people and platforms. You'll have the flexibility to combine WFH with time in the office, and you'll be joining a great team in a role with real impact.
If this sounds like you, we'd love you to apply
We believe in the power of an inclusive and diverse workforce. We trust you will bring your authentic self to work and we will focus on making sure that together, we make a strong contribution to the broader community in which we operate. Where possible, flexible working arrangements are the norm, as we know a better work-life balance can improve your motivation, performance, and productivity.
