Job Description
We are seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to join our team in New Zealand. As a key member of our leadership team, you will collaborate closely with our HR Business Partners in Australia to manage HR Generalist activities across New Zealand. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver HR advice and solutions that support the company's strategic goals. You will also develop HR initiatives aimed at attracting, developing, and retaining top talent.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide in-country HR support and guidance to management across all business functions based in New Zealand.
- Build trust-based relationships with senior leaders to develop and implement strategy, projects, solutions, policies, and processes that align with business needs.
- Closely collaborate with unions and other industrial relations associations.
- Coach and advise people leaders on various employee issues including investigations, redundancy, respectful workplace, compensation, performance, and compliance.
- Work in partnership with P&C Centres of Excellence (COEs) and AU HR Business Partners to effectively implement people initiatives and key cyclical activities across NZ, including performance management, remuneration reviews, and engagement activities.
- Play a pivotal role in supporting leaders with talent assessment and development.
