Partnering with the Director of Operation's and their Leadership team at our large Highbrook site, you will be supported by the National HR Manager and a talented HR Team and will be responsible for helping shape and deliver the HR agenda that closely supports the overall strategy for the Highbrook operation.
Working with General Managers and Operational managers, front line leaders, employee representatives, and logistics employees within DHL Supply Chain at Highbrook, in a true HR generalist role, you will be providing high quality support and advice on all people related challenges and opportunities.
You will have experience working in a unionised workplace and feel comfortable in this environment.
Additionally, this position is also provided with the opportunity to lead and manage general HR projects across all the DHL Supply Chain NZ Business.
We're looking for somebody who has:
A minimum of three years Senior HR Advisor/HRBP experience coupled with a tertiary qualification in HRA sound working knowledge of NZ employment lawExcellent relationship management and customer service skills.
There is a strong emphasis on providing a high level of internal customer support so you'll need to thrive in a fast paced environment where we work at pace, to tight deadlines, while maintaining high standardsThe ability to partner and influence others at a Senior levelPrevious experience working in highly unionised operational environmentStrong employment relations experienceMature approach, discretion, and sound judgementExcellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and training skillsThe ability to work both independently and as part of a close teamAnd most importantly – team fit is key.
