The Role
Due to an internal promotion, an exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Seequent Legal Team based in Christchurch.

This collaborative Legal Team is at the forefront of the Seequent business, providing critical advice across all aspects of the organisation.

You will be joining a Legal Team which is flexible, supportive and committed to ensuring its members feel valued and fulfilled in their day-to-day practice.


Your role will be crucial in providing structure and support to assist the 5-person team to continue to meet the demands of the business and operate in a robust, scalable and responsive manner.


In this role, you will have the opportunity to

  • Collaborate closely and provide administrative assistance and support to the Seequent Legal Team.
  • Contribute innovative ideas to improve team efficiency and focus.
  • Play a crucial role in ensuring the filtering of legal and nonlegal queries and requests from the business and distributing that out to the relevant stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the sales teams located in multiple regions globally to assist with a variety of administrative matters.
  • Provide and undertake document and precedent management, including document execution matters and ownership of the team SharePoint site.
  • Help coordinate and manage incoming and outgoing requests to external law firms.

In order to be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Previous experience working in a dynamic and fast-paced dynamic environment with the ability to coordinate many moving pieces at once.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products. Prior contract management and/or similar processes is an advantage but not essential.
  • Strong attention to detail, plenty of initiative with a calm strategic approach to problemsolving.
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to work well independently and collaborate in a team environment.
  • Approachable and with the ability to communicate effectively with the team and wider business across the globe.
