Are you a skilled and enthusiastic Service Desk Support professional looking for an exciting new opportunity? Our client, a leading public sector organisation, is seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to join their team as a Service Desk Support.


Key Accountabilities:

  • Incident Management: Manage level 1 issues and change requests i.e., password resets, user setups, security certificates. Keep an accurate and uptodate log of each incident that is reported, including the category/type of incident.
  • Escalation Management: Act as escalation point for all incidents and requests to 2nd and 3rd line support teams, as necessary.

Person Specification:

Experience, Education and qualifications

  • Experience working within a telecommunications or similar service provider
  • Customer service experience
  • Experience/understanding of ITIL methodology (desirable)

Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent customer service skills with a strong commitment to providing highquality service to customers
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment
  • Strong problemsolving skills and ability to think creatively to resolve complex issues
  • Good attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
