The role
Fixed term opportunity at our Central Wellington office from 1 July 2023 to 31 July 2024.

This is a busy role encompassing a broad range of responsibilities. As our Operations Coordinator, you will support the delivery of operational functions across our branches.


With no two days the same, you will be proactively responding to enquiries from internal and external stakeholders, ensuring data and information across various systems is accurately maintained and general administration and branch support is provided to our teams.

Closing the loop on communications and working as an engaged team player will come naturally to you. You'll have the support of an experienced and dedicated operational cohort.

You will also:

  • Book all company travel
  • Support our billing specialist(s) by accurately invoicing clients' on a monthly basis
  • Set up and maintain projects in our WorkDay software
  • Review operational processes
  • Oversee and code credit card purchases, ensuring correct approvals are obtained
  • Provide IT support and administration, procurement and supporting asset management
  • Manage the arrival of international new hires
  • Maintain stationery and grocery supplies in the Wellington office
  • Organise 6 weekly Wellington branch meetings and other events
  • Oversee building maintenance and repairs
  • Attend H&S meetings, be fire warden and first aider
  • Carry out staff inductions, on and off boarding of staff and maintaining records
  • Keep the leadership team informed of relevant details, escalating issues when necessary

About You
We are a busy, professional IT consulting firm. You'll be the glue holding together the bustling office team. You'll respond nimbly to adhoc requests whilst getting through your regular day to day work. You'll enjoy engaging with a wide variety of people.

While experience working in a customer focused environment would also be beneficial, it will be your ability to think on your feet and juggle multiple priorities that will set you up for success in this service orientated role.


We're looking for flexibility, positivity, diplomacy and enthusiasm as we work towards building a National approach to our business operations.

As our Operations Coordinator, you'll be liaising with teams across our branches and effectively delivering key administrative functions.

Your excellent verbal and written communication skills will be essential, as you will be engaging with internal and external stakeholders across all levels, face to face, via the phone and electronically.

With your natural ability to plan and prioritise key tasks while working to strict timeframes, you will also bring

  • Knowledge regarding asset and stock management
  • Purchasing experience
  • Knowledge of, and aptitude for, picking up new tools and systems
  • A focus on continuous improvement
  • Curiosity to understand the meaning behind the data you are working with
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a memory to match
