We currently have an opportunity for an
Event Operations Coordinator to join the team and support the delivery of successful event experiences in the Wellington region for a number of key clients.


This is fast paced role involved in the delivery of some incredible events - working hours will be flexible and may include nights and weekends where required.


Key Responsibilities include:

  • Being the first point of contact with our frontline staff including communications around unforeseen absences & general workrelated queries
  • Scheduling staff rosters, both for future requirements & at short notice, to meet client requirements.
  • Motivating, engaging and developing our Red Badge Security frontline teams, ensuring standard processes are being delivered & followed by all staff members
  • Ensuring you're a visible frontline support network to our team and regularly visit client sites delivering service excellence
  • Bring a level of forwardthinking and initiative towards identifying and solving issues before they become more significant problems.

what we require form you:

  • Some experience in the events or security industry is great but not essential.
  • Previous track record in coordinating staff, logistics, production planning or supply chain.
  • Holding a valid Green COA license will be advantageous but Red Badge can support you in obtaining one.
  • Availability to work flexibility this is not your usual 5 job working weekends/evenings is required at times.
  • Proven critical thinking skills being able to develop solutions quickly.
  • Highly adaptable and have the ability to handle pressure in a fastpaced environment.
  • Good communication skills and an ability to enforce expectations with staff and lead them in the right direction.
