About The Role:

Implementation Specialist


The Implementation Specialist is primarily responsible for supporting the Cool Chain Manager with analytical reporting requirements, as well as one-off analyses to implement operational tasks and drive better performance.

The demand for analysis and interpreting information during the season is particularly high during the conditioning program (March
  • July).
The role requires the capability to measure against KPI's internally and externally by understanding performance and ensuring operational activities are implemented correctly in fruit conditioning, cargo and storage performance, verifying marine cargo claims etc.

Accountabilities:

  • Provide analytical reports on key control points within the supply chain, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Support the conditioning program by analysing fruit characteristics, fruit performance and cargo conditions so the correct operational activities are implemented.
  • Support relationships with external service providers where required.
  • Develop and manage trial schedules throughout the season, and monitor, analyse and report on trial progress and results.
  • Generate standard analytical reporting and oneoff analyses on a required basis.
  • Assist with other projects from time to time; this may involve activities outside the office, in packhouses and coolstores.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Tertiary education in biological sciences, engineering or related, would be advantageous.
  • Technically skilled in software tools including Power Bi, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SAP, SharePoint.
  • Practical technical background in postharvest management systems.
  • Postharvest trials experience.
  • Understanding of pre and postharvest kiwifruit physiology and production systems would be advantageous.
  • Flexible and willing to work outside normal business hours during the conditioning period (March

  • Current driver's license.
