About the opportunity


What an exciting opportunity to support the Category Strategy Managers in the development and execution of category strategy for Farm Source retail as the Retail Analyst.


You will have the opportunity to assess markets to identify potential opportunities for vendor relationships, strategic partnerships, and new products using tools such as Power BI.

You will also enable retail excellence through product performance, providing insight and making recommendations on key measures.

The Retail Analyst will identify strategic growth opportunities and drive change through commercially focused analysis

This will involve:

  • Supporting the Farm Source business, providing detailed strategic business intelligence, analysis, and recommendations.
  • Utilising your ability to deal with ambiguity and changing priorities,
  • Employing your strategic thinking with the aptitude to deliver conceptual ideas.

About you


Your excellent relationship building skills along with your experience in either FMCG, retail, or the dairy industry will allow you to communicate and influence across a diverse range of stakeholders.


Additionally, with your analytical thinking and PowerBI expertise you will take a continuous improvement approach to look for opportunities for efficiency and improvement.

A few other key skills that will help ensure your success:

  • Utilising retail analytics tools to provide insight on customer behaviour and product performance.
  • Communicate findings and rationale for decision making through clear and professional presentations.
  • Creation and maintenance of dashboards in PowerBI for use of the Category Team and wider business.
  • Working closely with the Category Strategy team, to support the design and development of key category insights to understand customer needs.
  • Providing detailed analysis on campaign / promotional performance with a focus on products and vendors featured in specific marketing activity.
