You'll be someone who can lead the frontline and be responsible for ensuring that a positive, Zero Harm culture is maintained.

You will also make sure key customer and stakeholder relationships are nurtured, whilst creating a collaborative and "best for network" environment across your projects.


  • Be involved in planning, organising, directing, and controlling activities and operations of crews to ensure that work is completed to the satisfaction of customers and all targets (productivity, quality, and safety) are met
  • Deliver the programme required ensuring all Health and Safety legislative requirements are met.
  • Provide the necessary direction and leadership to the Operational Traffic Management teams in the Wellington region.
  • Assist in the selection, coaching and development of staff.

Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skills

  • A proven track record of supervising teams and subcontractors in a range of maintenance/construction activities
  • Previous experience leading an operational traffic management team or similar.
  • Highly desirable to have proven business management experience with responsibility for plant and return on investment.
  • Essential to have proven project management experience and a suitable level of experience in the Traffic Management industry.
  • Hold a minimum Level 2/3 Site Traffic Management Supervisors qualification.
  • STMS A/B/C Practising.
  • TTM Mentor Qualification.
  • Essential to have some knowledge and experience in the Traffic Management and construction sectors.
