We are seeking a Traffic Management Coordinator Lead (TMC Lead) to join our busy Customer Experience & Partnerships team.

As a TMC Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team who co-ordinate all Temporary Traffic Management (TTM) works on the WTA network, including approving Traffic Management Plans (TMP) for WTA and all parties working on the network.

In this role you'll

  • Minimise the impact to the customer and the network as a result of closures, ensure closures installed on the network are compliant and as per the approved TMP, and where possible assist with the optimisation of closures to reduce the impact on traffic and reduce exposure to risks.
  • Attend meetings on behalf of WTA for Temporary Traffic Management matters.
  • Work closely with WTOC and provide expert advice and assistance on matters relating to TTM closures and, where required, emergencies as and when they arise.
  • Continually improve how associated processes perform and demonstrate good quality management and documentation.
  • Seek collaboration opportunities and fellow RCA's to be Better Together.

To be successful you will ideally have:

  • A solid background in the traffic management industry
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, able to establish clear goals, monitor through inclusion, coaching and active listening and facilitate clear decisionmaking
  • Experience in both the planned and unplanned works environment.
  • Indepth knowledge of TTM and CoPTTM, including the recent changes, and TMPs
  • Relevant STMS Level 3 qualification
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with people at all levels and from within and external to the Alliance
