We are seeking an experienced, and operationally focused individual to join our Wellington team in the role of Operations Supervisor.


Our Wellington operation covers a range of services from charter and tour services, cruise ship transport, Ministry of Education school bus services and private school contracts.


In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring our drivers have the tools and support they need to deliver exceptional and safe service to our valued customers.

This is a fast-paced, exciting, and high-pressure industry and this position will suit someone with the ability to make quick and methodical decisions to ensure our network is always functioning over a 7-day period.

Work hours can vary due to the nature of our industry with support after hours on shared roster required.

This role would be perfect for an individual who is "young at heart" and is looking for a challenge to sink their teeth into.


You will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring our drivers and vehicles are compliant to a high safety standard,
  • Optimise resources to meet client demands and delivery of service,
  • Handling investigations, complaints, and incidents,
  • Respond promptly to unforeseen challenges and adapt schedule as needed,
  • Liaise with our workshop on planned maintenance,
  • Support operations team with quotes, bookings, rostering and operational duties,
  • Develop and maintain exceptional relationships with driving team, operations staff, and clients.

You will have:

  • Enthusiasm and/or experience in the busy and dynamic industry that is transport and tourism,
  • A strong customer delivery focus and strong attention to detail,
  • Proven experience as a team leader/supervisor in an operational role,
  • Advanced technical skills and the willingness to adapt to new technology,
  • Exceptional problemsolving skills with the skills to make decisions under pressure,
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the wider team,
  • An excellent verbal/written communicator with the ability to positively influence the team,
  • The flexibility to travel to our other locations across NZ, training for this position will be held offsite,
  • A current class 2 licence (this would be an advantage) or the willingness and ability to obtain one we, can assist with this,
  • The ability to gain a Passenger endorsement,
