Downer hold a long-term Asset Management and Facilities Management contract with the Department of Corrections and the Ministry of Justice that proactively manages and delivers to the national portfolio of facilities including 15 prisons, 98 courts and 99 community correctional sites.


Reporting to the Senior Service Delivery Coordinator, the Service Delivery Coordinator is an essential support role Working closely with the Senior Property Managers and Property Managers, Technical Trade team and sub-contractors, you'll be responsible for ensuring resources are scheduled and allocated to ensure we deliver the preferred outcomes for our customers.

This role may be based at Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch.

Working in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and deadlines, a day in the life will include:

  • Triaging, prioritising and dispatching works to the appropriate trade staff and sub-contractors in line with set KPIs.
  • Managing the lifecycle of jobs through to completion including other performance KPIs, and ensuring completion notifications and invoices are received and completed in timely manner.
  • Engaging with Property Managers to direct that all required documentation is completed for quoted works processing.
  • Other administrative functions as required to support Senior Property Managers and Property Managers as may be required from time to time.

Having worked in a similar role, you'll have a positive, can-do attitude and will come to work amped and ready to help out this busy & engaged team You will be exceptionally organised and show willingness and enthusiasm to work at pace in a high-volume environment.

Your excellent communication and relationship building skills will be vital in your day-to-day dealings with internal and external contract teams.


You will also:

  • Attention to detail is your middle name You dot the i's, cross the t's, and leave no stone unturned.
  • Be a team player who collaborates and communicates effectively in this highvolume, timebased environment.
  • Have a curious & techsavvy nature with the ability to confidently operate the MS Office suite.
  • Experience in a fastpaced environment working in Admin/Scheduling/Planning
