About the role:

Key responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Washing and cleaning utensils and cooking equipment
  • Cleaning benches, floors and other kitchen areas
  • Assisting the chefs in the preparation and cooking of food, as directed
  • Disposing of rubbish and waste
  • Storing and sorting of food
  • Ensuring the kitchen is clean and sanitary
  • Implementing all hygiene and Health & Safety regulations
  • Handling, sorting and distributing food items
To succeed in this role, you will require the following:

  • Capacity to work as part of a team
  • Good personal hygiene
  • Ability to follow directions and safety requirement
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize
  • High aptitude for following workplace guidelines, procedures and polices
  • Past work experience in restaurants or catering business preferred

Salary:
$ $28.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Afternoon shift
  • Evening shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Morning shift
  • Rotating roster
  • Shift work
  • Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Auckland City, Auckland: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
