Fencible Manor Rest Home offers Rest home care and aged care in Cockle Bay, Auckland. Weare currently seeking Rest Home Caregivers to join our team. You will be working with afantastic team, lovely residents with great support from management, and an emphasis onbuilding strong relationships with the residents and their families, this site is proud of itsreputation.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist residents with daily activities including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Monitor and document vital signs and report any changes in residents' condition to the nurseon duty.
- Maintain accurate documentation as required.
- Administer medication as directed by the nurse on duty.
- Support residents' social and recreational activities.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for the residents.
- Complying with the relevant policies related to punctuality, correct maintenance of timerecords, professional appearance and conduct, and all House Rules/Code of Conduct.
- Do Laundry, perform cleaning and kitchen duties in a helpful manner, and maintain goodinfection control principles.
- Contribute to the development and assessment of personal care plans.
- Work within a team environment where we respect the Residents and other staff.
- Adhere to Health and Safety Policies and report any hazards and incidents and accidents.Cooperate with any investigations.

**Requirements**:

- Effective communication skills with residents, families, and team members.
- Compassionate and patient with a desire to care for the elderly.
- Ability to work collaboratively with the rest home team.
- Willing and able to pass an NZ police check. Must not have any criminal convictions and beable to pass a drug test.
- Physically fit and strong.
- Strong working knowledge in Health and Safety.
- New Zealand citizens or residents are preferrable.
