We are recruiting for a Logistics Coordinator for a temporary opportunity in a central govt. agency.

  • Duration 25 March 30 June
  • Wellington CBD close to public transport
  • Typical hours b/w 8am4pm (may need to beflexible to work longer some days) 1 day WFH
  • Supportive team

About the role
We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator to ensure the successful implementation of a project.

You will work closely with the rest of the team which includes 2 Project Managers, a Data Manager and a number of administrators.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Creating schedules
  • Processing timesheets, expenses etc
  • Organising travel & accommodation
  • Organising computer shipping schedule
  • Liaising with administrators over the phone
  • General administration duties

What are we looking for?

  • You will have experience working with schedules maybe a background in events
  • Strong interpersonal skills not afraid to coldcall
  • Customer service skills
  • Excellent phone etiquette wellspoken & professional
  • Experience working with Excel spreadsheets
You will be comfortable working under pressure with strict non-negotiable deadlines.

This is a dynamic environment, & you will be able to think on you feet when things don't go to plan & problem-solve.

The team is very supportive, & always have each-others backs.

Other systems you will use in this role include - Google sheets, a Project management tool, Oracle finance system.

While you may not have expereince working with these, you will be tech savvy and able to pick things up quickly.


This is a temp role and you must have the right to work in NZ and be available for the duration of this contract.
