About the Role
- We have an opening for a Planner to join our team, welcoming candidates at various stages of their planning careers, from beginners to seasoned professionals.
- We seek a qualified planner with the experience suitable for the roles of Planner, Intermediate Planner, or Senior Planner.
- As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the council fulfills its legal obligations regarding resource consent and district plan administration.
- You will serve as a trusted representative of the council, emphasizing on maintaining strong relationships and introducing innovative ideas to benefit our team and district.
- Your daily responsibilities may include processing resource consents, providing planning advice, implementing the District Plan, educating the public, and engaging with various departments across the council.
