**He angitūtanga: The opportunity**

We’re seeking a Parks Resource Consents Planner at an intermediate level for an exciting opportunity within our team. You will represent the Parks and Community Facilities (PCF) view of parks, open space, recreation and sport for statutory and consent processes.

You will work as part of a team to deliver high quality open space outcomes within RMA processes that relate to growth and development, and receive mentoring and support from senior members of staff to build your skills and confidence.

**He kōrero mōu: About you**

You’ll bring with you a minimum of 2 years planning and resource management experience, supported by a tertiary qualification in policy, planning, parks and open space management or in a relevant field. You will have proven experience in project management disciplines delivering results and innovation in a high public profile environment where you can demonstrate your experience in the Reserves Act and the Resource Management Act.

We value our customers and resulting from your customer focus you will have an excellent track record of customer delivery. We’d like to see a good understanding and working knowledge of tikanga and Te Reo. Here it will also be essential that you have a positive attitude toward problem solving and motivating others.
