This internship program aims to provide interns with valuable skills, mentorship, and potential employment opportunities while contributing to OMRON's mission of developing technology to solve real-world problems.


Responsibilities

  • Acquire valuable skills in Industrial Control System equipment and programming through comprehensive training programs and handson experience.
  • Collaborate closely with experienced OMRON engineers, receiving mentorship and guidance to achieve internship goals.
  • Contribute to the expansion of industrial control systems, supporting OMRON's mission of improving society.
  • Showcase capabilities during the internship to seize potential employment opportunities with OMRON or its customers.
  • Foster stronger relationships between OMRON and universities through the internship program.

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant engineering or technology program at a recognized university.
  • Strong interest in industrial automation or related fields.
  • Basic knowledge of Industrial Control System equipment and programming is preferred.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills and a dedication to providing valuable outcomes.
  • Ability to work diligently and document solutions effectively.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with OMRON engineers and other team members.
  • Willingness to attend the OMRON office during agreedupon hours and days. Remote work may be considered in certain circumstances.
  • Ability to commit to the full 12week internship program.

Benefits

Duration and Compensation

  • Internship duration: 12 weeks, providing an immersive experience in industrial automation.
  • This is an unpaid internship; however, the knowledge and experience gained are invaluable.
  • Successful interns may have the opportunity for a paid contract or fulltime employment role upon completion.
