Āu Mahi | What You Will Do

The Digital Screen (DS) at Te Whare Wānanga o Waitaha | University of Canterbury (UC) is a major project of work covering the development of a Digital Campus and new educational offerings across the nexus between the Game Development and Film industries.

The role of the Workstreams Coordinator is to deliver exceptional service and support the newly formed Digital Screen team through the establishment phase of this project.

The role will support the overall efficiency, effective service provision and daily operations of the Digital Screen establishment through to operational support of the programme through:

  • professional, efficient, and confidential support to the DS Director and workstream leads
- providing a professional external and internal contact point for a wide range of stakeholders.

Mōu | Who You Are
To be successful in this role you will have a minimum of 5 years experience in an administrative/coordination role preferably in a large organisation

You will also have:

  • Experience in a Tertiary or large NZ Education organisation or in the film or game development industries
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills across the MS Office Suite
  • Excellent written and oral skills
  • Experience with diary management, meetings and minute taking
  • Excellent time management skills, able to effectively prioritise and proven attention to detail
  • Great organisational skills and the ability to remain calm while dealing with competing demands
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
