Our People Advisory team handle all things related to looking after New Zealand Post's people. This includes supporting our leaders through a range of important HR functions and offering expert guidance and support. We have a permanent opportunity available for an outstanding, enthusiastic People Coordinator to join our People Assist team.
Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
As part of our People Advisory team, you'll help us build an engaged, productive, and diverse workforce.

You'll be involved in a diverse range of HR administration activities including providing comprehensive support to managers in the management of their day-to-day interactions with employees including the preparing letters which support the lifecycle of the employee, tier-1 HR advice and interpretation of HR policies.

You'll also get involved in project work, including providing administration support for change management and our reward and recognition programme.

Mōu - About you

Ideally, you'll have either a degree in Human Resources or some strong administrative work experience working in fast paced busy and complex environments.

Working in a high volume, deadline driven environment, you'll need to have a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.

You'll combine this with being an excellent communicator and team player, with strong organisational and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong technology skills including knowing your way around MS Office including SharePoint
  • The ability to pick up new systems and processes
  • A collaborative approach both with your immediate team and the wider business
  • A strong customer service ethos and approach
  • The ability to treat information confidentiality and remain sensitive to the details you come across in your day to day job
