Our People & Culture Team is looking for an experienced HR Coordinator to join them in our Wellington office on a 12-month fixed term contract.

We are quite flexible on hours in terms of a 5 day full time role, 4 day week or school hours are also an option.


About the role
You will work closely with the two Business Partners and Advisor to support the business.

Your role will focus on a variety of support across the coordination of the end-to-end employee lifecycle, managing data entry, onboarding & offboarding, recruitment coordination and liaising with payroll.


Other key tasks:

  • Prepare employment related documentation such as offer letters, contracts, exits and approved variations to terms and conditions.
  • Provide employee data reports, run surveys and collate feedback
  • Ensure all position descriptions, organizational charts & floor plans are kept up to date

About you:

***This position calls for someone with excellent communication skills, organizational skills and attention to detail. To be successful this role will require integrity, initiative and high work standards.

Other key requirements:

  • Related HR qualifications OR at least 2 years of experience in a similar HR role
  • Welldeveloped verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage with people at all levels.
  • Flexibility and willingness to learn both autonomously and in a team
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively and demonstrate a wellorganized and systematic approach

Our HR team consists of the General Manager People & Culture, two Business Partners, an Advisor, and a Talent Acquisition Specialist.

We are a close bunch who support one another. We value each other as individuals for their relative strengths while always coming together as a whole team.


We work hard together to achieve high-quality results, but we know how to have a good laugh (we also love coffee and cheese scone meetings at local cafes).

We're not looking for someone who just has the technical skills necessary to do the job but a colleague who wants to be a part of our unique team.
