About the role
As an
ICT Engineer you will ensure the company's information and communication systems consistently meet user, business and operational process requirements in an effective manner, and provide systems support to end users.
You will be passionate about current and emerging technologies and be proficient in one or more of the team's core functions - Azure technology, systems integration, servers, storage, virtualization, network, VoIP and database administration.
Primarily, this role will provide specialist ICT support for the end user computing function covering PCs/tablets, and mobile devices management as well as associated software and peripherals in a corporate Microsoft windows environment.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring PCs, Servers and networks hardware and software meet personal computing, and business operational requirements
- Providing support across all levels of the Service Desk
- Working collaboratively with members of your team and across technology group to ensure the reliability and robustness of ICT services provided as a whole
- Maintaining the security and integrity of company information systems
- Supporting continuous improvement in the use and performance of systems, companywide
Skills and experience
- A tertiary business computing qualification or industry recognised vendor qualification such as Microsoft Certified Modern Desktop Administrator
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role in a sizeable organisation, including working with PCs, servers, storage and network configurations
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities
- A selfstarter, hungry for knowledge, who works well with people and contributes to a positive team culture
We are passionate about providing excellent service in the Technology team and will require you to have a demonstrable commitment to high quality customer service as well as high level written and spoken English language skills.
