About the role:


The Senior Engineer - Network Operations is responsible for providing advanced technical support services including Architecture design, maintenance and monitoring of TWoA ICT infrastructure.

The role will ensure the stability, integrity and efficient operation of all ICT systems (whether internal, contracted, outsourced or cloud delivered) that support core organisational functions and leading service operations delivery.


In this role you'll:

  • Integrate and manage ICT Infrastructure in accordance with TWoA Architecture design protocols
  • Collaborate with Network Operations Team to ensure smooth and reliable operation of ICT systems for fulfilling business objectives and processes
  • Work with the Taupārongo Team Leadership, other uepū members and vendors to define business ICT Architecture requirements and goals
  • Perform architecture design and security, ensuring ICT systems are up to standard and operate in accordance with the organisation's disaster recovery and business continuity strategies

About you - you'll have:

  • A Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Business or Engineering or related discipline
  • Chartered IT Professional NZ Certification and/or Membership
  • Excellent IT experience, with related experience managing network operations groups responsible network operational services
  • Proven experience in managing network operations supporting multiplatform environments
  • Strong understanding of hardware and systems software technologies, and systems network infrastructure
  • Proven experience in overseeing the design and implementation of software/hardware systems and related products
  • Full NZ Drivers Licence
