About the opportunity
We have an exciting new opportunity for an
Infrastructure Support Engineer to join our high performing Operational Technology Infrastructure team within Fonterra IT.
This team provides OT network & system infrastructure to ensure high availability, stability and security of the Common Automation Environment (CAE) across Fonterra's manufacturing plants, globally.
As one of our infrastructure support engineers, you will provide consistent, high-quality BAU support and engineering services to ensure infrastructure up times, stability & security.
These services include the initial triage & support for both network and system break / fix events, service requests and other standard moves, adds & changes to support our stakeholders along with timely escalation to the wider engineering team to ensure appropriate service levels are maintained.
You will also manage a significant monitoring & preventative maintenance schedule in our growing manufacturing environment.About you
You will preferably have experience in IT/OT systems and/or network infrastructure engineering roles or you may be a highly motivated graduate looking to pursue a career in systems or network engineering.
You will also have good communication and relationship management skills and aspire to be part of a high performing technical team.
- Tertiary qualification in computer science, IT or similar discipline
- Qualifications (eg. VCP or CCNA) or equivalent experience in IT Systems and/or network Infrastructure
- Experience in OT or manufacturing environment/automation but not essential
- Ability to work autonomously in a troubleshooting role and solve complex problems
