We're looking for someone who wants to take the leap into their next challenge and are keen to help major developers navigate the complex beast of Council.

You'll be joining a team that is highly experienced in town planning.

We're keen to add different skill sets to ensure that we create a formidable brains-trust for Developers and Council Staff to lean into.

You might be a planner as well, or an experienced program manager, development manager, a financial wizard, or even a legal mind who has a passion for infrastructure, land development and problem solving

About the role:

Working as an Infrastructure Development Manager, you'll be linked closely with private land developers. You'll be working across our infrastructure, planning and funding departments to influence, integrate and get stuff done. This is a role where you can make a real difference.


This role does rely upon you building strong relationships both internally and externally, you will be entrusted to establish and maintain relationships with some of our most important clients.

You'll be the lead on commercial negotiations with large land developers on behalf of Council. Working with internal and external teams to draft and implement development agreements is another big part of your role.

  • Have a proven track record in program management, development management, finance, legal or planning and engineering? Our minds are open to what this looks like, transferable skills are a valuable asset, tell us about yours
  • Be able to get along with a range of personalities and effortlessly work as a virtual member of teams right across the Council.
  • Be great at communication and relationships, working directly with residential and commercial land developers ensuring their projects gain traction as they navigate the complexities that come when aligning with the delivery of capital infrastructure.
