Connetics is a multi-disciplined, multi-regional electrical design, construction and maintenance business. We maintain and develop electrical infrastructure assets for energy customers throughout Aotearoa.
Connetics is ultimately owned by the ratepayers of Christchurch (via the Orion Group) and as such our financial returns enable the council to make further investments for the benefit of the NZ community.

Connetics works in a true design, supply, build, operate, and maintain delivery model having all services located at our main depot in Ōtautahi Christchurch.
This connection means that the designer can get to site to see their designs being constructed and subsequently helps to develop more well-rounded engineers.
This role will see you contributing to the fast-paced and dynamic Design & Engineering Team who are delivering exciting and innovative projects.

Mō tēnei tūranga mahi - About the role
In this position, you will oversee complex Design and Engineering projects, contributing to enhancing the team's overall commercial effectiveness.
Directly reporting to the Head of Design and Engineering, you will offer guidance and leadership to ensure the successful implementation, conclusion, and performance of projects.
Your responsibilities will include ensuring projects are completed punctually, within budget, and meeting both quality standards and customer requirements. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will build and maintain strong relationships both internally and externally.Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako - Skills /Experience
Essential:
- Minimum 5 years experience in a project management or equivalent role
- Understanding of the full project life cycle process from conception to construction
- Experience the delivery of complex projects and programme management
- Detail orientated with strong organisational skills
- Ability to foster effective communication channels across Design & Engineering
- Strong interpersonal skills with a knack for productive collaboration across the team
- Evidence of delivering successful projects on time and in budget
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
