Kōrero mō te tūranga | About the role
- Work collaboratively with the CEO, the Executive Leadership Team, and Te Rau Ora's service delivery leaders in the development and implementation of all marketing and communication strategies.
- Lead in marketing communication and engagement.
- Design and coordinate Te Rau Ora's strategy to grow and enhance Te Rau Ora's presence within the Hauora Māori Sector.
- Manage Te Rau Ora's social media presence and reach locally, nationally, and internationally.
- Provide advice and oversight for promotional events and ensure that all engagements and outputs contribute to Te Rau Ora's narrative.
- Lead by coaching and mentoring others with an engaging and empowering manner.
- Te Reo Māori me ona tikanga capability essential.
Mōu | About you
- Experience articulating and communicating an organisations narrative that is appropriate, creative, and engaging.
- Experience working in Māori kaupapa environments, working with Māori communities, and organisations.
- Confident and comfortable with te Reo Māori me ona tikanga.
- Excellent relationship management and project management skills.
- The ability to think strategically and to formulate and communicate effective marketing strategies.
- Ability to manage and lead a strong team.
- Outstanding relationship building and stakeholder management skills at all levels.
- In depth understanding of digital landscapes, social media, and branding strategy.
- Confident and dynamic personality.
- A collaborative, professional, and mature approach to your work and a sense of fun
