About the opportunity
An exciting opportunity to take on the role of Marketing Lead - Farmer Engagement.

In this role, you will not only develop and implement marketing strategy programmes and campaigns, but also support Farm Source brand strategy, focussing on our Farmer Engagement.


In this important role, you will undertake the end-to-end marketing and project management of key initiatives, from strategy to communications.

You will provide support for the Wider Farm Source Marketing Strategy in the following ways:

  • Champion the Fonterra and Farm Source brand
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies
  • Identify marketing opportunities that drive Fonterra farmer advocacy
  • Execute multichannel marketing campaigns relating to farmer engagement
  • Drive digital and social strategy, including creating and uploading content
  • Develop strategic presentations and presenting to key stakeholders

About You

We are looking for someone who has extensive marketing experience with a particular skill for not only developing strategies but also delivering results, ideally in the Agri/rural industry.


You will also have experience with creating marketing campaigns and content/copywriting that drives engagement emotional connection and action, as well as proven experience in taking concepts to delivery.


Other key attributes and skills:

  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications or a similar discipline (OR experience equivalent)
  • Strong influencing skills, with experience in crossfunctional teams
  • Project management experience and team management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High level administrative and support capabilities.
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft packages
