OPR Limited t/a Athena Bathrooms & Clearlite Bathrooms, is a New Zealand success story, that has been manufacturing since 1946 and supplying bathroom products for close to 50 years.

We are looking for a Territory Manger to cover the greater Auckland area, covering Auckland Central and the East, West & South Auckland areas, plus some out-of-town travel to Thames/Coromandel region. Ideally you will be situated within the Auckland area.

About the Role:

Reporting to the National Sales Manager the key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth and achieve targets within the designated territories
  • Build strong relationships with existing customers to ensure retention and satisfaction
  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans, aligning with the company's growth objectives
  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimise product offerings, pricing strategies and promotional activities
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer feedback to inform strategic decision-making and enhance sales effectiveness
  • Provide regular reports and updates on sales performance, market insights and potential growth opportunities
  • Participate in industry events, trade shows and sales conferences

About You:

  • Proven sales experience, with the ability to hunt new business opportunities, whether it be leads from existing customer base or developing/cold calling new potential customers
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to build and maintain existing relationships with merchant channels and Group Housing companies (B2B sales). Key tasks will be product specification and product training on how to sell our products, with the goal being sales growth and overall growth of our market share.
  • You will be a self-starter with the ability to work autonomously
  • You will be resilient with the ability to overcome obstacles, learn from setbacks, and use them as opportunities for growth
  • You will be a team player
