Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role

This exciting new role will support the clinical development of staff, in particular those staff who are new to CAMHS and those staff from overseas.

If you are passionate about developing clinical practice this is the role for you.

The Clinical Coach works alongside the team leader to ensure that best practice standards are met and service provision is consistent and equitable and combines collaborative and participatory practice with people who use our services.

Our CAMHS teams use the Choice and Partnership Approach (CAPA), this client centred approach focuses on adding value to the client experience through engagement, therapeutic alliance, choice and clear goals.

Pivotal to this approach is strong leadership, skills modelling and teaching for our staff.
