About the role
Our new commercial wāhanga is looking for a senior coordinator working part-time until November 2024.


The primary purpose of the Senior Coordinator is to provide co-ordination and administration services to the Director and wāhanga, which aims to grow diversified revenue streams that will support TWoA.

The role will provide critical coordination and administrative support to the management, development, and delivery of professional cultural development programmes and services.


Responsibilities include (not limited to):

  • Provide a highlevel of administrative support and technical assistance to the Director and team including calendar management, room/VC bookings, proof reading and general correspondence
  • Complete all records management and filing and source and store resources and documents in accordance with document filing and storage protocols
  • Plan, coordinate and support service delivery, event /marketing support and coordination of events in conjunction with management and / or project team
  • Provide project administration support and manage administrative functions for projects
  • Undertake financial administration and procurement tasks and submit invoices as required
  • Contract administration and uploading of reporting and invoicing

About you

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Business Administration, Business and/or Computing (Level 5)
  • Full NZ Driver Licence

Experience:

  • 5 years' administration experience at a senior level including:
  • proven track record in providing support to large functional teams
- proven ability to work effectively within a culturally diverse environment
- demonstrated ability to relate directly to people at all levels

  • 2+ years' experience in education sector
  • 2+years' project/events organisation experience

Technical Skills:

Word, Power Point, Publisher)

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent relationship management skills
  • Accurate & proficient in typing and data entry
  • Excellent planning and facilitation skills
  • Confident manager of reporting data collation and presentation
