ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a 20 week contract where you, as the Release Manager will collaborate closely with intricate projects and initiatives, offering guidance, planning, and overseeing deployment and transition tasks throughout various stages of release cycles.
You will play a vital role in mentoring the Release team, while demonstrating leadership in all aspects of release and environment-related tasks.
DUTIES
- Develop and implement integrated frameworks and methodologies across release management.
- Lead the delivery of complex and strategically important release.
- Lead and facilitate meetings related to change and release management
- Maintain practice standards and business knowledge, providing adhoc support and deployment changes and timing advice to the business.
- Relevant ITIL & PRINCE2 qualifications, Agile would be advantageous.
- Demonstrated experience in large complex technologybased organisations.
- Well rounded knowledge of release and deployment methodologies, practices and controls.
- Strong internal and external stakeholder management skills.
- Sound judgement, discretion and the proven ability to work under pressure.
- Advanced knowledge of SDLC and best practice standards.
