**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**
The Government Services Group provides expert advisory and support services to Te Whatu Ora and relevant Ministers. It delivers a broad range of services and deliverables, including briefing Ministers, responding to Official Information Act requests and Parliamentary Questions, and is the foundation for Te Whatu Ora's involvement in parliamentary processes. The Group is comprised of three teams organised by portfolios: OIA Services; Parliamentary Questions and Correspondence; and Reporting, Briefings, Select Committee, Proactive Release and Ombudsman. We manage high volumes of products - around 4,000-5,000 OIAs per year, over 3,000 WPQs and 2,000 pieces of correspondence. This is a fast-paced environment with expectations of meeting deadlines and providing Ministers and the public with quality products.
The Coordinator delivers effective and efficient coordination for the Government Services Team, actively collaborating and engaging with colleagues and stakeholders. The coordinator supports the team with effective and timely support to respond to requests for information, other related queries from internal and external parties.
**Mōu | About you**
You will be an experienced coordinator and administrator, with a talent for dealing with large amounts of data and information. Your ability to work under pressure, and across a wide range of internal and external colleagues and stakeholders will be key. This means that you will need to have exceptional interpersonal and time management skills and organisational skills. You will also understand the need for confidentiality and care in handling sensitive personal and health information.

- An interest in the machinery of government
- Good judgement, decision making and problem resolution skills
- Advanced computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft office, including outlook, Dynamics, Word and Excel
- High degree of attention to detail and accuracy, particularly around data
- Ability to work as part of a team and on one's own when required
