An iconic and distinctly New Zealand attraction - The All Blacks Experience, showcases our national passion and cultural connection to rugby, along with the incredible accomplishments of our national teams in black.
This interactive experience takes manuhiri (visitors) on a guided grassroots-to-glory journey, through the story of rugby in Aotearoa exploring how it's shaped us.
Manuhiri will hear from legends of the game and immerse themselves in the All Black environment, from locker room to the roaring of stadium crowds.
As our business continues to grow, the role of Customer Experience Manager will lead our team of rugby and customer-mad guides, ensuring that all guides are trained to the highest standards and supported to deliver a consistent, quality experience to our manuhiri.
You'll be part of a small friendly management team and have the opportunity to influence and make a difference to the way we deliver service to our visitors.
We're offering a competitive salary package and autonomy to develop the role in conjunction with the wonderful retail and event offerings at the All Blacks Experience.
We're looking for a person with the confidence and personality to lead a large group of customer facing kaimahi (employees), who come from a diverse background with diverse levels of experience.
As part of this role, you'll be working closely with the Retail Manager and Bookings & Events Coordinator to ensure the everyday smooth running of our business.
No two days will be the same as we seek to realise our vision
Our purpose is to make the connection - with our manuhiri, through our people, to our place and Kāi Tahu values.
- Must have a minimum of 5 years operational leadership experience
- We need you to have significant experience in delivering face to face customer service, a love of people, visitors and a sound knowledge of rugby
- You'll be comfortable leading a team of customer service staff, leading training activities and monitoring consistency of service delivery
- Have sound time management and attention to detail
- Previous handson experience from within a tourism/attraction based business preferred
