The Role
The Manager, User Experience is a key strategic role, responsible for supercharging human-centred-design at Seequent.

Your deep love of designing and delivering experiences that puts customers at the heart of everything, while driving commercial growth for the business, will attract you to this role.

You will be responsible for spearheading the UX craft, while leading a passionate team of UX Designers and UX Researchers - to ensure that our products and services meet the needs of real people.

An excellent storyteller and collaborator, you will connect the big picture 'why' to the detailed 'how' for designers across our community.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Demonstrate servant leadership by putting the needs of team members first, empowering them to achieve goals, and facilitating their growth and development, to create a highperforming and engaged team culture.
  • Strategise and deliver innovative endtoend user experiences across platforms while optimising user needs, business goals and technology.
  • Experienced in designing for digital and product experiences, while having your eye firmly placed on how individual touchpoints across channels and products ladder up to boarder customer journeys.
  • Develop and maintain UX design standards, practices and a deep understanding of customers to guide design decisions.
  • Represent UX practice to the business, foster a culture of collaboration and lead different operating models to scale the UX practice.

In order to be successful in this role, you should have:

  • 8+ years of UX design experience, 3+ years in a UX leadership role, with a proven focus on customer centred culture and outcomes, and a history of developing strategy and seeing through to delivery.
  • A strong enterprise design experience, connecting the big picture to the detail, and the ability to communicate design concept ideas through prototyping, wireframing and user flows.
  • Strong communication skills and sense of ownership, with ability to articulate the value to a design choice to stakeholders / customers / our people.
  • Experience with Adobe CC Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, After effects), Sketch, Figma, Invision and Marvel. Use of HCD process and methods, with experiences across the process from discovery to delivery.
  • The Right lens, right story, right time able to operate at different levels of zoom to be able to contextualise and effectively communicate the core customer need and problem that is being solved for across all levels of the business.
  • A selfstarter initiative and thought leader always curious to push design boundaries, with the ability to build effective relationships and assimilate information quickly.
