About the role:

We've got a great opportunity for an Asset Strategy professional to join Genesis at our Hamilton central office.

Our Asset Strategy Engineering team create and manage asset management plans for generation assets that deliver strategic and synergistic investment opportunities.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Use their technical Engineering experience to lead fleetwide asset lifecycle strategies, targeted investment plans and the continual development of Genesis Asset Management processes to support throughout.
  • Develop and implement asset type lifecycle strategies and standards as required to ensure that generation assets perform to meet the business strategic plan.
  • Facilitate the ongoing review of Equipment Asset Management Plans.
  • Identify, promote, and assist with design replacement initiatives, improvements, and modifications for existing assets and for integration of new assets.
  • Provide expert engineering support on technical assets to assist with CBA's (cost benefit analysis), project justification and planning processes, FEED studies (Front End Engineering Design), and similar activities.

About you:

  • Engineering Degree and/or Relevant Industry Qualification
  • Experience with Asset management within a relevant heavy industry

  • Flexibility to Travel to all other sites will be required
  • The role is primarily based at Hamilton with short term travel to site required periodically.
