  • As an Asset Information Officer, you will be part of a team of asset management experts contributing to the maintenance and development of the asset management system and maintaining the GIS maps for use by our field staff.
  • Data capture and analysis, reporting outputs, process development, and ensuring data integrity and quality.
  • Working in Infor our Asset Management System and GIS to answer internal and external queries.
  • Interacting with a range of internal customers to provide asset management advice, help, problem solutions, and deliver training on how to use the systems.
  • Finding the nuggets of information from our data management system and improving the accessibility of our documentation.

_Mō ngā pūkenga | Qualifications and experience _
- _Relevant diploma level qualification in information management, engineering, science, or asset management. _
- _Min 3 years of experience, and competency in: _- _Computers and software systems (this might include using SQL, MS Excel, ArcGIS, or standard asset data systems such as Infor, Tech 1 and SAP). _
- _Database management and maintenance including the ability to interrogate, manipulate (with a clear rationale and audit trail) data and information. _
- _Asset management and or engineering and financial principles. _
- _Good communication skills - written and verbal including the production of complex reports. _
- _An ability to communicate technical and data management concepts to a range of user levels from management to field operations staff. _
- _High level of self-management and initiative with a focus on attention to detail. _
- _Ability and willingness to learn complex new skills and processes. _
