Role Overview:


As the Principal Information Governance Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in our mission to revolutionize information governance in the government sector.

We are seeking a professional with a proven track record of specialization in existing models and frameworks specific to Enterprise Information and Data.

Your expertise will be key in tailoring and implementing cutting-edge solutions that align with our client's unique requirements and contribute to the overall success of their initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize your experience and expertise to support and enhance our client's existing models and frameworks in the government sector.
  • Collaborate closely with Enterprise leaders to drive strategic shifts in our information, data, and analytics capabilities through effective change management.
  • Stay uptodate with the latest trends and best practices in information governance and frameworks, with a specific focus on Enterprise Information and Data in a New Zealand Government context.
  • Manage and address risk and assurance management, information and data maturity, and other critical aspects of information governance.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills and contribute actively in a collaborative team environment.

Requirements:

  • A strong background in information governance, data management, or related fields, with relevant tertiary qualifications.
  • Demonstrated expertise in existing models and frameworks within the government sector.
  • Proven experience in tailoring and implementing solutions to meet unique organizational requirements.
  • A keen awareness of the latest trends and best practices in information governance, especially in the context of New Zealand Government operations.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
