This is a leadership role supporting business stakeholders, process owners and the SAP Specialists to ensure that SAP systems are fit for purpose and meet the needs of its users.

The SAP Functional Lead understands the end-to-end, (data entry to reporting) business and system processes and are focussed on:

  • Maintaining the SAP ecosystem and the integrations with other DOC Enterprise Systems
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to identify opportunities for innovation
  • Ensuring a whole of systems view is applied to decision making
  • Promoting the value of best practice by lifting awareness

DOC has upgraded to SAP S4/HANA and adopted the All of Government (AoG) Common Process Model (CPM) for Finance, Procurement, Enterprise Asset Management and Real Estate Management.

In this role you will lead the support of solutions across the SAP portfolios.

  • Significant knowledge in SAP S4/HANA, Finance, Procurement, Enterprise Asset Management or Real Estate Management
  • Significant knowledge of the All of Government (AoG) Common Process Model (CPM)
  • A team player with a collaborative and inclusive work style
  • A proven record of successful relationship building
  • Strong analytical and organisational abilities
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
Desirable

  • Knowledge of other SAP S/4HANA ERP software products and/or SAP Reporting solutions
  • Knowledge of the DOC Operation Model
  • A relevant qualification

The position will form part of a Team Lead, three Functional Leads and seven specialists that are responsible for the provision of enterprise resource planning services and ensuring the operational effectiveness of the SAP systems.
