We're all about endless potential:

We're the team in charge of empowering New Zealand's digital future. A future few can imagine. It started with the roll-out of our once in a hundred year network.

But there's much more to come as we keep pushing what's possible, providing unlimited access to an ever-evolving range of innovative products and services.

Technology that'll support, inspire and connect people and businesses for generations.

To that end, we need more curious, collaborative and forward-thinking people.

Because while we're busy improving our national network, we'll need more of the best to join our truly inclusive workforce, one where you'll be made to feel you belong, and that everything you do is valued (because you do, and it is).

As for our culture. Our people say it's one of the best around. We're proud of that.

And with our Chorus Care package benefits behind you too, you'll have everything you need to seize this opportunity and make it your own.

Work your way
:

What you'll be doing:

The Senior BPC Systems Administrator role is a newly created role which reflects the increasing use of Chorus SAP BPC as a core Finance Systems tool for planning and performance reporting functions for internal use, as well as meeting our regulatory obligations.

The role will provide day to day support for users and maintenance of models and with insight and understanding of the end-to-end business & regulatory planning and reporting processes, the role will partner with model owners to deliver continuous improvements to ensure Chorus is maximizing the benefit of the SAP BPC solution, while ensuring compliance and change management procedures are adhered to.

This role will also support other tools as needed such as BW4Hana reporting.

There is plenty of change ahead and as we expand our planning and reporting functions in the SAP BPC environment, this role will partner with process and model owners, Chorus Technology Office (CTO) and our third-party support partners to build and implement additional modelling and user functionality.

Longer term this role will also support the transition to the S4Hana environment which is an upcoming program of work on the Finance Systems delivery roadmap.

Some of your responsibilities will also include:

  • Be able to demonstrate and explain BPC functionality to third parties such as Commerce Commission or Auditors as required
  • Maintain system documentation, manage and communicate changes
  • Be a driving force behind future development in the BPC environment, partnering with business owners, CTO and thirdparty contractors to design, build & implement
  • Continuous process and system improvements to deliver efficiencies, accuracy and business insight

What you'll bring to the table:

Having a real passion for what you do is a great start. But it'll take more than that to succeed in this role.

In order to support Chorus and the SAP BPC system you'll need:

  • Prior experience in building & implementing SAP BPC (essential)
