THE ROLE

The role will be interfacing with the business stakeholders in an Agile environment translating the business problems and needs into SAP functional specs and configurations.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Creating or modifying functional specifications, configuration and other documentation that supports the solution, adhering to SAP Standard where possible
  • Provide context, expert advice and support for SAP Projects and Business as Usual support activities.
  • Support the SAP Architect on how the strategic architecture will impact the business process layer.
  • Lead system design improvements with the business owners and write functional and technical specifications for improvements to the SAP system.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to ensure that the SAP system performs to meet business and compliance needs.
  • Play a key role in the full project lifecycle, from initial setup of the project to the final delivery of the result.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Least of 8+ years' experience in technical and functional knowledge as SAP Finance / Procurement Consultant
  • Least of 8 years of involvement with a full cycle implementation.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with all business stakeholders.
  • Experience with SAC and ARIBA highly desirable (Procurement Consultant)
  • Experience working with both agile and traditional ITIL methodologies.
  • Well versed in business analysis, design, configuration, testing, training, implementation and post implementation support, technical and functional specifications and interfaces handling.
  • Understanding of current SAP technology trends and directions.
  • SAP Certified.
