An internal secondment has created an opportunity to join our Information Services team for 6 months as our Business Improvements Officer.

With an inquiring mind and an interest in business analysis, particularly Information Services, you will review and analyse Council's business intentions, services, processes and information needs to identify changes that lead to business and system improvements. You will take an active role in enhancing service delivery with an emphasis on customer service excellence through business efficiency and will also be responsible for assessing and making recommendations, managing the execution of business improvements and implementing them at both a project and team level. In addition, you will work closely with key stakeholders in a business partnering capacity in order to determine how services and processes can be delivered in a more customer focused and efficient manner.

To be successful in this role you will have strong communication skills in order to build engagement capability with the organisation and develop effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders. You will use your analytical and research abilities to identify areas for improvement. You will also be responsible for assessing and making recommendations, managing the execution of business improvements and implementing them at both a project and team level.

Ideally you will have Local Government experience, Promapp (or similar Process Management system) experience and TechOne P&R (or similar rating and compliance ERP system) experience.
