About the opportunity
We are currently seeking an experienced HR professional to join our collaborative team on a fixed term basis until October with the possibility of extension.
Under People & Culture, our team of Processing Officers and Specialists provide a centralized and high-quality service to managers and employees across Fonterra.
We make all things 'HR master data' happen in My Fonterra (Success Factors), resolving a high-volume of HR cases across a broad spectrum from processing employment agreements, maintaining employee and position data in My Fonterra and undertaking data integration activities such as auditing and reporting.
The HR Systems & Processing Specialist, reporting into the Processing Team Lead, will play a lead role in further developing and improving our service quality in line with our People & Culture strategy and initiatives.
As a supporting role to the Lead, you will draw on previous experience to manage workload across the team, balancing efficiency and ensuring service level agreements are met, whilst providing high quality support and advice.
The Key Purpose of this role:
- Coach and develop team members to build capability and provide high-quality customer-centric service, adapting coaching approaches to individual learning/feedback preferences
- Act as the first point of escalation and support for the team
- Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance team efficiency and capacity while ensuring a seamless customer experience
- Take ownership and deliver projects
- Monitor and support workload management for the team
- Manage and maintain people and organizational data in SuccessFactors
About you
With your HR systems background, you will be able to support with continuing to build capability within the team and focus on continuous improvement to deliver consistent and professional HR service with the customer experience in mind, along with:
- Proven experience (3+ years) using HRIS platforms such as SAP, Success Factors, or similar with a specialization in data management
- Experience in leading a team, either directly or indirectly, and managing workload in a shared service environment is highly advantageous
- A customercentric mindset, drawing on your understanding of HR processes, including employee lifecycle management, performance management, talent management, and compensation, to coach and advise both the team and customers
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to easily build positive relationships and establish trust and influence
- Strong analytic and problemsolving abilities, a solutionsfocused approach, and critical thinking skills
- Comfort with managing ambiguity and a high level of resilience in a fastpaced and diverse environment
- Experience in large, complex organisations, ideally with a unionised workforce
- Understanding of NZ employment legislation
