We're looking for an experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead and inspire our field sales team across the wider Canterbury region.
Reporting to the Chief Sales Officer, you'll be responsible for driving market share across your region through your team of technical sales experts in horticulture, agriculture and nutrition products.
Key account management will be required as we continue to grow in the horticulture, dairy, and general agriculture markets and knowledge and experience in these industries would be advantageous.
The day to day will involve:
Leading and developing a high performing and engaged sales team
Ensuring delivery of exceptional service levels and technical expertise to shareholders
Maintaining and growing our supplier and vendor relationships
Development of a strategic plan regarding brand strategy
Travel across the Canterbury region is expected as part of the role, however you'll have flexibility, freedom to be autonomous, and the ability to make the role and your travel cycle your own.

You'll also have:
A proven track record of leading high performing sales teams to achieve success
Demonstrated account management experience
A solid understanding of the Canterbury region
A relevant tertiary qualification in business management and strong business acumen
An affinity with / knowledge of the agricultural sector (highly desirable)
An ability to think strategically and tactically and utilise data to create innovative solutions
An ability to identify and consolidate new business opportunities
Proficient computer skills
Excellent knowledge and understanding of key sales metrics
High levels of problem-solving, negotiation and presentation skills
Flexibility and adaptability are also required to thrive in our high-paced environment.
