Mō te tūnga | About the role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join the team on a permanent, full-time basis. You'll be responsible for electrical maintenance, fault finding, and repair work across automated production lines to ensure the ongoing performance and reliability of plant equipment.

Shift Pattern:

• 3 weeks on morning shift (5:30am – 3:00pm)

• 1 week on afternoon shift (2:45pm – 12:00am)

• Every second Saturday

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on electrical systems and machinery

• Diagnose and repair faults across PLC-controlled and automated systems

• Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics

• Collaborate with mechanical and production teams to minimise downtime

• Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives

• Ensure compliance with EWRB and site safety standards

Mōu | About you


• EWRB Registered Electrician, or currently completing practical hours toward registration

• Proven experience in FMCG or manufacturing maintenance

• Strong knowledge of conveyors, gearboxes, and plant machinery

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills

• Safety-focused, proactive, and reliable attitude
