About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for experienced Car Wash technicians to join our team to assist with our ever increasing workload. Works include general maintenance and servicing of Car washes across the region. Works can be varied from Installation through to, thorough preventative and proactive maintenance and diagnosing faults. We also look after compressed air , fuel dispensers, pumps, tank gauging, storage tanks and a range of appliances, at retail service station facilities across the country along with some smart technology we have developed to monitor everything at site, including the car wash.

We are looking for experienced, reliable all-round techs to join our team; the work will be varied and will include electrical and other general servicing works as part of a team and training will be provided. Applicants that have similar skills, a great attitude and a willingness to learn will be considered.

Demonstrate you have what it takes with proven experience, putting the customer first, fault finding, delivering quality work in a timely and friendly manner. We need someone who is skilled, motivated and can work independently as well as part of a team who is proactive and wants to learn and grow with us and willing to undertake a variety of tasks.

We have roles available in Auckland, Christchurch, Wellington , Hamilton, and Tauranga .

Skills & Experience

  • Prior experience maintaining and servicing car wash equipment
  • Basic Knowledge of different car washes in NZ
  • Appliance servicing and fault finding
  • Hazardous Area experience or want to learn.
  • Able to work unsupervised and be solutions focused.
  • Be self-motivated, team and safety focused.
  • Great attitude, sense of humour and wants to learn
  • Health and Safety understanding
  • Fitting and turning, Mechanical, Aviation or Automotive experience can be advantageous as skills are transferable to the oil and gas industry.

Desirable

  • NZ Full Electrical License
  • Basic knowledge of Fuel station fuel systems
