What are we looking for?

As a result of an internal promotion, we are on the search for a Digital Account Manager that has a strong background in analysing performance and identifying solutions and opportunities in Digital Marketing campaigns.

Our last Digital Marketing professional that joined our team left a traditional agency seeking more exposure to the top end of digital. After her 3 month review her comments said it all..

We are really looking for someone with high EQ and marketing acumen who is comfortable to get in the room with any business regardless of size and industry and talk marketing– simply be able to engage and talk business. You could be influencing the financial industry one day and the fashion industry the next.

You will work closely with our leadership team to develop digital marketing strategy, campaigns and digital direction for some of the leading brands in Australia and New Zealand. The real differentiator will be someone who has been exposed to digital marketing in a B2B or B2C environment and is obsessed with the client perspective and how marketing drives sales.

What is the focus of the role?

The focus in the role is quite simple, but hugely rewarding if performed well. You will be required to drive digital marketing strategy with new and existing clients as they join ZIB and work closely with the Sales and Production teams to influence the creative direction of our client's digital strategies.

Your daily tasks will include but not limited to:

• Develop and present digital marketing strategies for clients
• Onboarding new clients and helping set up their campaigns
• Shaping the Google Paid Ads knowledge in your peers
• Shaping the marketing strategy of the client's digital direction
• Liaising with the Production team to bring the strategy to life
• Attend sales pitch meetings to influence strategy
• Train and develop digital marketing knowledge
• Manage client relationships

What skills do you need?

• 3 years + experience in digital marketing roles
• Google Paid Ad's and/or SEO experience and technical knowledge
• Exposure to B2C environment favourable
• Highly driven, have the ability to multitask with an attention to detail
• Digital marketing knowledge in a commercially savvy way
• Exceptional communication and influencing skills
• Emotional intelligence
• Enjoy growing clients businesses and practical results

Where in the world would I be based?

This role is located in our ZIB NZ Auckland office.
